Straight answers about how StaffHQ works, what the pilot includes, and how your
documents are handled. Want to see it first? Try the sample handbook demo.
What does StaffHQ actually do?
StaffHQ turns your handbook, policies, SOPs, and onboarding documents into an AI help desk. Staff ask questions in plain English and get cited answers drawn from your own documents, with a clear fallback when the docs do not cover something.
How is this different from a generic chatbot?
Generic chatbots guess. StaffHQ only answers from the documents you upload and cites the source section for every answer, so staff can trust it and managers can see which policies are unclear or missing.
How does the pilot program work?
We run a concierge pilot: you request a pilot, we reply within one business day, and we set up your workspace with you for a one-time $499 setup fee. Pilots run $49-$149 per month depending on team size, with no long-term contract.
What documents can we upload?
Handbooks, policy documents, SOPs, onboarding packs, and checklists in PDF, DOCX, plain text, or Markdown. We extract the text, index it, and keep every answer cited back to the uploaded source.
Is our company data private?
Yes. We import only the documents you choose, over a channel we agree with you first. We never ask for sensitive employee records, and our privacy page spells out exactly what the pilot form collects and how to request deletion.
Do staff need training to use it?
No. Staff ask questions the same way they would ask a manager. There is no portal to learn and no HRIS rollout - it works alongside your existing tools.
What happens when StaffHQ does not know an answer?
It says so instead of guessing, and the question is logged so you can see which policies are missing or confusing and fix the documentation once.
Who is StaffHQ for?
Owners, practice managers, and operations leads at 10-250 person businesses - clinics, restaurants, franchises, agencies, and trade or field-service teams - who keep answering the same handbook questions.
